IDEX – Doctoral School component
Context:
Aid for outgoing international mobility forms part of the IDEX Training, Graduate School system and is intended to promote outgoing mobility for PhD students, for stays of 1 to 6 months associated with their thesis work.
Eligibility criteria:
- Be enrolled for a PhD at the Grenoble Alpes University Community
- Have received Very Positive feedback from thesis supervisors and the Doctoral School
- Go to a country which is different to that associated with your nationality
- Stay for a minimum of 30 consecutive days
- Mobility must be undertaken during the 2019 calendar year
Amounts awarded:
Participation in mobility costs for stays of one month and longer, up to a maximum of 6 months’ funding.
Please note: the duration of the funding allocated will not necessarily correspond to the duration of the mobility undertaken.
The funding covers:
- Travel package calculated according to the destination and departing from Grenoble, from €20 to €1500
- Subsistence costs package
- Destination: Europe, €550 monthly
- Destination: outside Europe, €650 monthly
Procedures:
PhD students must:
- Download the file on this site: https://doctorat.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/fr/preparer-un-doctorat/doctorat-et-international/mobilite-internationale/
- Complete the file relating to their host laboratories (laboratory and thesis supervisors) and the directors of their Doctoral Schools.
- Submit their completed files via email to the Doctoral College
